In 1899 the first spa of the Isla de la Toja, Galicia, was opened. Legend has it that in the mid-nineteenth century, a priest left his dying donkey on this island and when he returned he found him radiant bathing in its waters. This was what prompted the opening of the Balneario de la Toja, a pioneer in our country and what made it visit thousands of tourists, who wanted to take away some of their miraculous water. This is how the idea of making the products containing Sales de la Toja came about, and in 1904, the first soap with mineral salts on the island arrived with benefits for the skin and health. Little by little the line of personal hygiene was extended to gels, colonies and shaving line. In the early 2000s, the brand was sold to Henkel and its distribution expanded, but its mentality has not changed. Springs of beauty and health within your home.
