The Neutrogena brand of body and hair care worldwide known today was created in 1930 by Emanuel Stolaroff, who originally gave Natone his cosmetics company name. The business was growing and expanding and focused its distribution on dermatologists and luxury hotels. In 1962 they changed the name to Neutrogena Corporation and in 1994 it was bought by Johnson & Johnson.
